Equipment Needed for the exercise :

1. Grid Reader – You can purchase a UTM grid reader that supports 1:24,000 topos at REI. You can also go to http://www.maptools.com/FreeTools/UTMtools.html and print one of these on a clear overhead slide and cut it out for temporary use.
